About the Department

The department of Business Administration has designed an industry benchmarked curriculum to empower the students with essential knowledge and employability skills. The teaching- learning process is facilitated in 8 class rooms, 1 tutorial room, a computer lab with Internet connectivity and a seminar hall. Case study oriented holistic teaching methods are practiced to ensure that the graduates acquire industry insight and not just a degree.

The department boasts of highly qualified and dedicated faculty members who step into the shoes of a parent to every student of the department. Students are encouraged to utilize technology positively to learn the industry relevant skills. Holistic development of the students is the prime facilitation of alumni interaction and intervention, Outbound training for eligible students and part-time jobs are arranged to inculcate commitment, leadership, responsibility and team spirit.

Advaitam Hall is a fully air-conditioned hall equipped with LCD projector and sound system and has a seating capacity of 200. The seminar hall hosts various academic and cultural events of the department. Regular sessions of Management Study Circle and Journal Alert Forum, the forums established as platforms for the students of the department of Business Administration to hone their subject knowledge and enhance their presentation skills are hosted in this hall. The department also has a well-equipped computer lab with internet connectivity. Access to information plays a vital key in developing the individual potential of the students. The college has a central library consisting more than 10,000 volumes of books and adequate number of journals. All the latest editions of books both for reference and text are available in this library. It also subscribes to various newspaper and periodicals for providing information and updating one’s knowledge.

The journals of both National and International, related to all specializations of Business Administration are also subscribed. The Library has a “Book Bank” consisting of essential texts books, which are issued to all the students for the whole academic year. Services offered by the library are circulation, consultation and reference.
