Pg & Research Department Of Commerce: C Club Forum

The first C Club Forum of this Academic Year 2019-2020 was inaugurated in our college premises on 27th July, 2019 @ 9.30 A.m. Sri.C.Jayasankar, Head, PG & Research Department of Commerce welcomed the students of commerce department. Dr.K.R.Venkatesan, Principal, Sri Sankara Arts & Science College, inaugurated the “C CLUB FORUM” with his inaugural address. Commerce Club unites, motivates, empowers and enlarges the minds of commerce students. Every year the programme aims at revealing the talents of young brains. C CLUB creates a platform to exhibit the knowledge through an easier way. Many students gained the essence of C CLUB and came out with flying colours.

Department Of Commerce

Department of commerce organised a programme on 24th September, 2019 at Sri Kanchi Mahaswamy Auditorium. The programme was initiated with the welcome address by Sri.C.Jayasankar, Head, Department of Commerce. Ms.M.V.MALAIMAGAL (Head, Training & Content Development, Vital Skill Square, Chennai) was invite as a chief guest. In her special address, she elucidated in detail about an awareness on managing emotions and also explained the steps to mindfully deal with difficult emotions. This special lecture was very useful for our department students. The programme was successfully ended with the Vote of Thanks, which was given by S.Ganapathi Subramaniyan I B.com.,

Symposium On Women’s Economic Empowerment

This programme was scheduled on 24th January, 2020 at Sri Kanchi Mahaswamy Auditorium. The special address was delivered by Dr.K.R.Venkatesan. M.A, M.Phil., Ph.d., PGDJMC, followed by the welcome address by Sri.C.Jayasankar, Head, Department of Commerce. Mrs.Mahalakshmi Saravanan (Founder, Women Entrepreneurs India) First Generation Social Entrepreneur and TEDx Speaker has given a special address about Women’s Economic Empowerment. She shared valuable business ideas to the students. Her speech created a positive impact in the minds of our commerce department students.
